Stayed for one night. Booked months in advance. Booked a super deluxe room at Top floor with good view (costliest). Observation - location is by the side of Kamakhya temple. Approach is about 5 minutes walk crossing narrow lanes & stairs. Our booked room was not kept available for us & instead given a room on 2nd floor after about 90 minutes wait. No welcome gesture or drink offered. Room - size was good but amenities were poor. Sofa dirty. Linen used. Towels small & not fresh. No shaving kit. Soap dispenser empty. Poor lighting. Tv small for room size & screen full of artefacts. No HD channels. Scanty power points. Service - atrocious. We were made fo feel as if they were obliging us. Food also limited & lacking taste.

right inside the temple complex. the only downside is that, your vehicle will not go the the hotel , instead you have to get your luggage carried to the hotel from the temple entrance,. But the hotel staff are very polite and will help you with your requirements since its almost inside the temple complex , you can get ready in very early morning and get in the que, and successfully get the Darshan
